Explore Kingston culture at the National Gallery of Jamaica with its statue of Bob Marley and Edna Manley’s most important work, The Ghetto Mother. Step back in time to historic mansion, Devon House, built in 1881 by the wealthy black millionaire, George Stiebel. Mix with the locals at the buzzing Town Square Market in Spanish Town on the western edge of Kingston.
Find a city retreat at Kingston’s Hope Botanical Gardens, a 50-acre oasis of tropical greenery and relax on the beach at Lime Cay. Or hike the nearby Blue Mountain National Park (an hour’s drive from Kingston) to discover Jamaica’s jungly interior.
